The twin brother of the man accused of killing teacher Stephanie Scott will be extradited to NSW after being arrested in South Australia, accused of playing a part after the alleged murder.
Marcus Stanford appeared in handcuffs in the Mount Barker Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
He's expected to be charged with being an accessory after the fact to Ms Scott's murder in the NSW Riverina town of Leeton in April.
Asked if he knew anything about the warrant for his arrest, Stanford told the court he did not and indicated he had not spoken to a lawyer.
Asked if there was any reason why he should return to Leeton, he said 'Never been there, so I wouldn't need to return'.
Stanford, 24, was arrested at a Forreston property in the Adelaide Hills early on Tuesday morning by NSW and South Australian detectives.
His twin brother, Vincent Stanford, was in April charged with Ms Scott's murder.
Marcus Stanford was ordered into the custody of NSW detectives to appear in Sydney Central Local Court on Thursday.
He will remain in custody in Adelaide overnight on Wednesday and is scheduled to board a flight to Sydney at 9.30am SA time.
