We use Gaia and it is great!
Gaia for sure. Aveeno, if I recall correctly, is actually under the branch a larger brand (loreal??) and apparently were known to still test on animals or something like that. My sister warned me off it anyhow.
I have never used anything except water. DS and DD2 still go in the bath with just water at 2 and 1 and always have beautiful skin. I don't get the obsession with using stuff on baby's skin?
I found gaia just as bad on my son's skin. If it looks like eczema something like qv or dermaveen will be more gentle. Gaia products although organic and whatnot still have things in them that can irritate sensitive skin.
J&J & GAIA gave my son dry skin and rashes, so we use the Dermaveen Baby range now, and it's been great!
Aveeno is horrible - I used it once on DD and I may as well have used laundry powder on her skin, it was that harsh.
Gaia is great - I love the moisturiser. I use it on my own face as a night cream because it's so rich and creamy
There is another brand out there, called Avado - its in a yellow bottle and is an Australian brand. Around the same price as Gaia, and is just as good. I love their body wash because it's extremely gentle.
not johnson, anything but johnson and johnson. olive oil is the best, but if you want a product we use use dermaveen baby. great for sensative skin.
I used giai with newborn and he got dry skin from it :-( switched to qv
Definitely not Johnson! I usually only use olive oil and (very occasionally) Gaia products. For similar reasons as CEC81.
I like the curash oatmeal shampoo it creates clouds of downy soft hair and seems very mild and gentle. He gets the softest skin when I use a billy goat soap bar. I tried Gaia because I like their philosophy but the results were so-so and he was getting dry skin so now I avoid all liquid soaps/bath washes.
